Dubai Food Festival returns for fifth year

Dubai Food Festival (DFF) is Dubai’s annual citywide culinary celebration and is returning from 22 February – 10 March 2018 for the 5th time. DFF shines a spotlight on the range of cuisine available throughout the city, from the most elite dining experiences to hidden eateries off the beaten track.

Highlights of the 2018 edition will include Dubai Restaurant Week, Beach Canteen, Taste of Dubai and more. Residents and visitors will also be able to take advantage of exclusive offers by purchasing the DFF Pass.

Dubai Restaurant Week

As part of Dubai Restaurant Week during DFF, visitors can enjoy exclusive three course menus at 15 of the city’s most sought-after restaurants from just £39. It remains one of DFF’s most popular events with spaces sold out last year at many restaurants so bookings should be made as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Restaurants included in the deal range from Peruvian LIMA Dubai, Jodhpur for high end Indian dining, Folly by Nick & Scott with views over the Madinat Waterways and Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen.

Beach Canteen

The pop-up venue will see Sunset Beach transformed into a culinary hotspot for the duration of the festival, showcasing the best cooking that Dubai has to offer, from home-grown food trucks to restaurants and cafes. Visitors to this one-of-a-kind event can sample dishes from around the world, from street food to authentic Emirati-inspired meals. It’s not all about food, though, as there’s also a packed entertainment line-up with everything from fitness classes and markets to live music and family-friendly activities.

Taste of Dubai

Thousands of the city’s food lovers will be flocking to Dubai Media City Amphitheatre for three days of gastronomic experiences, to savour dishes from dozens of Dubai’s best fine-dining restaurants. Visitors will also be able to learn from celebrity chefs, with live cooking demonstrations, and chances to get up on stage and cook alongside them. There will also be live musical performances from international and local artists – Billy Ocean and Boney M have previously graced the stage. Available from 8 – 10 March.
