National Wine Legend Named for Wente Vineyards Chair in 2023

The 2023 National Wine Legend was Carolyn Wente, the third generation winegrower and chairman of the board of directors.
Carolyn may be recognized at the annual Liquor Star Awards, which will take place on February 5, 2024, in Miami. Carolyn was chosen by Wine Enthusiast. This esteemed honor is a fitting conclusion to Caroly n’s 42-year wine industry career and Wente Vineyards ‘ 140th anniversary of founding.
Wente even serves on the Executive Leadership Board of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and the School of Viticulture and Enology at the University of California, Davis.
Carolyn is humbled and honored to be a member of this illustrious gaze party, as well as the first woman to receive the title of American Wine Legend.
The British Wine Legend pride has only been given out a few times since 2000, despite the fact that the Wine Star Awards service is an annual occurrence.
