Singapore tourists prefer luxury hotels, good food and stay in Singapore hotels
According to Agoda’s Travel & Tech Study, Singapore’s millennials prefer to lap up the luxury holiday options available – namely luxury hotels, shopping and dining.

Across the board, Singapore travellers definitely prefer the finer things in life, with 46% choosing to stay in four to five-star luxury hotels. 66% shop while on ‘holiday’, while a further 78% highlighted an importance on dining.
The top 10 ranked destinations included major cities in Asia, such as Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong and Tokyo – all of which offer the luxury hotel, shopping and dining experiences sought after by many Singapore travellers.
But it’s not all glamour for Singaporean travellers — other top destinations include scenic destinations such as Batam Island, Malacca and Bali, catering to the 72% of travellers across all age groups looking for nature and scenery.
