The 2017 eat! Brussels, drink! BORDEAUX festival ends this evening with positive results. Starting on Thursday lunchtime, over 25 000 dishes and 90 000 tastings of Bordeaux wine have been served at Brussels Park Established in 2012, the culinary year in Brussels, the eat! BRUSSELS festival has become the unmissable gourmet event of the early autumn and the symbol of the culinary diversity of the European capital. For the fourth year running, the festival has consolidated its privileged partnership with Bordeaux Wines. The 6th festival invited fifteen iconic chefs from Brussels who took turns in showcasing their signature dish to the visitors. They have been joined by 5 pastry chefs for the first time this year. From Thursday lunchtime to Sunday evening, over 25 000 dishes will have been sampled. The 50 Bordeaux winemakers and wine merchants have served nearly 90 000 tastings of Bordeaux wine, including sparkling, red, rosés and white wines. The Bordeaux Wine School has trained 1650 people over the 4 days. And an international village has showcased 9 regions, provinces and towns, all of which are partners of the Brussels Capital Region.
